Youth Labor Program Specialist, Career Launch, SD Department of Labor and Regulation
Kaitlin provides statewide leadership and oversight for Career Launch a workforce program dedicated to supporting youth who face barriers to employment. Kaitlin interprets and develops policy grounded in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), provides strategic direction to program operations, delivers training to frontline staff who work directly with youth, and works with partners to determine how to serve their shared customer.
Kaitlin is driven to ensure young people understand there are many pathways into the workforce. She is passionate about empowering youth to explore multiple opportunities and helping them recognize the skills, strengths, and value they bring to any future employer.
