For more than 35 years, Engineered Truss Systems has been locally owned and operated in Brandon, South Dakota, supplying high-quality building components for residential, commercial, and agricultural projects across the Upper Plains. “I enjoy coming to work every day and getting to just build somebody else’s life and take pride in building a good product and making sure it’s up to code and standard,” said Jacob Murray. “I get to serve everybody in the surrounding community by making sure that they have the best possible product that we can put out.”
Every project begins with careful planning. The team reviews blueprints or sketched floor plans, verifies measurements, and designs truss layouts in-house before production begins. This process helps builders avoid delays, added costs, and downtime on the jobsite.
Recent expansion of the Brandon facility has increased capacity and reach. The project was supported through a partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
“We’ve seen these products go everywhere within a 500-mile radius and we’re centrally located with the two interstates right here to be able to serve a lot of the communities around us,” said Jake Quasney, Chief Operating Officer.
As demand for housing, commercial space, and agricultural infrastructure continues across the region, Engineered Truss Systems plays an essential role in supporting that growth.
“Building component manufacturers are a critical part of that infrastructure,” Quasney said.
