Freedom Works Here.
South Dakota is the perfect place for your business. Whether you are looking to invest here from a foreign land, or you already call South Dakota home and are ready to sell your products world-wide, we are ready to support you in your global business endeavors.
Home to a diverse set of foreign-owned companies across a wide-range of industry operations, South Dakota offers businesses opportunities that others do not. Our tax climate allows businesses to keep more of their profits. Our tax structure has no corporate income tax, no personal income tax, no personal property tax, no inheritance tax, and no business inventory tax.
South Dakota has a US Port of Entry in Sioux Falls, allowing businesses access to efficient US Customs clearings for cargo and chartered flights.
If you are ready to expand your markets, we have partners that can help you succeed. You can find more information on the services offered and contact information below.
Certificates of Free Sale are now issued by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. Required by certain countries, these certificates state that South Dakota companies produce the purchased products in the state and there are no trade restrictions on said products. There is no charge for a certificate. To request a certificate please follow the instructions in Certificate of Free Sale information sheet.
