SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) is proud to announce its participation in 2024 Economic Development Week, May 6-10.
“Economic development plays a vital role in the growth and opportunities that both a community and state have to offer,” said Deputy Commissioner Jesse Fonkert. “GOED is committed to helping communities across the state thrive through economic development.”
Economic Development Week was created to recognize the work that economic development organizations and professionals do in their communities.
“Economic Development Week is a great time to reflect on our collective achievements and to plan for a future of inclusive and sustainable growth,” said Joe Fiala, GOED Partner Relations Director. “We are inviting businesses, community leaders and the public to join us in celebrating progress and to engage in meaningful discussions about the economic future of our community.”
