Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program

South Dakota produces about one billion gallons of ethanol a year. And thanks to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s new Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program, South Dakota fuel retailers now have another tool to help them promote South Dakota’s homegrown energy.

The Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program provides grants to gas stations for installation of ethanol blender pumps. Blender pumps allow motorists to select their desired blends of gasoline and ethanol.

Grant awards up to $25,000 are available for installation of a station’s first blender pump. Grant awards up to $10,000 are available for installation of each additional pump.

GOED is not currently accepting applications.
